Walk from Rocca di Cave

The walk

4.3 km out-and-back walk near Rocca di Cave, up to Incrocio sentiero 503, 174 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 774 and 886 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantine il Moro (4.3 km) and lunch at Sora Maria e Arcangelo in Olevano Romano (6.6 km).

Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

How to get there

Country buses run less often on Sundays and holidays, and some not at all: check the return journey before you set off.
