The walk
7.2 km out-and-back walk near Comune di Sgonico, up to Bivio sentiero n. 3, 303 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Bajta Salež (3.8 km) and lunch at Antica Trattoria Menarosti in Trieste (8.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
