The walk
6.2 km out-and-back walk between Sappada and Forni Avoltri / For Davuatri, up to Bivio sentiero 230 (quota 1516 m), 433 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1284 and 1553 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Da Alvise in Sutrio (19.3 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Belluno: about 1 h 30 min (62 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
