The walk
4.9 km out-and-back walk near Gemona del Friuli, up to Bivio sentiero n. 704 (quota 600 m), 308 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 442 and 750 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Borgo Poscolle in Cavazzo Carnico (11.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Udine: about 45 min (29 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
