The walk
5.7 km out-and-back walk between Lessona and Casapinta, up to Bivio BIAM11-BIAM12, Ex asilo di Casapinta, almost flat (+102 m): about 1 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Clerico Massimo (1.9 km) and lunch at Impero in Sizzano (18.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Stresa: about 1 h (40 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
