The walk
7.5 km out-and-back walk near Varazze, up to Strada Megalitica, 480 m of total ascent: about 3 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 395 and 694 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Baccicin du Caru in Mele (15.9 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Genoa: about 45 min (31 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
