The walk
5.5 km out-and-back walk near Verghereto, up to Cippo dell'Alpino, 471 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 679 and 1134 m above sea level. Along the way: Alfero. After the walk: lunch at La Campanara in Galeata (19.1 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
