The walk
7.9 km out-and-back walk near Rocca di Papa, up to La Forcella, 313 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 561 and 811 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Azienda biologica De Sanctis (7.5 km) and lunch at ’Na Fojetta in Frascati (7.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Rome: about 40 min (29 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
