5.4 km out-and-back walk between Civate and Valmadrera, up to Cima Corno Birone, 320 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 390 and 706 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (8.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
