4.7 km out-and-back walk near Valleve, up to Passo di Tartano, 416 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1460 and 1865 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Ristorobie in Cusio (10.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Sondrio: about 25 min (17 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
