The walk
3.8 km loop between Incisa Scapaccino and Vaglio Serra, almost flat (+109 m): about 1 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail. Along the way: Riserva naturale speciale della Val Sarmassa. After the walk: wine tasting at Tenuta Bricco San Giorgio (3.6 km) and lunch at Del Belbo da Bardon in San Marzano Oliveto (8.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Alba: about 40 min (28 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
