The walk
Almost-loop walk of 3.1 km between Belforte Monferrato and Ovada, almost flat (+71 m): about 1 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Cascina Boccaccio (3.4 km) and lunch at Caccia C’a Bugge in Campo Ligure (6.1 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Genoa: about 40 min (28 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
