The walk
7.6 km out-and-back walk between Torrazzo and Chiaverano, up to Bivio BIAS05-BIAS09A, Scalveis, almost flat (+102 m): about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 648 and 742 m above sea level. Along the way: Serra di Ivrea. After the walk: wine tasting at Terre Sparse (3.1 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Aosta: about 1 h 15 min (53 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
