The walk
7.1 km loop between Petralia Sottana and Isnello, 427 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1627 and 1963 m above sea level. Along the way: Pizzo Carbonara, Parco delle Madonie and Piano Battaglia. After the walk: lunch at Nangalarruni in Castelbuono (6.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
