The walk
5.2 km out-and-back walk near Taverna, up to Ruderi del Piciaro, 179 m of total ascent: about 1 h 45 min of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads, between 1437 and 1582 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at La Taverna dei Briganti in Cotronei (14.3 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.
