The walk
4.5 km out-and-back walk near Trento, up to Stoi (bivio 401), 355 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 716 and 1019 m above sea level. Along the way: Forte Casara, Montevaccino and Chiesa di San Leonardo. After the walk: wine tasting at Mas dei Chini (1.8 km) and lunch at Osteria 17 in Pergine Valsugana (8.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Trento: about 5 min (4 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
