The walk
8.0 km out-and-back walk between Brallo di Pregola and Santa Margherita di Staffora, up to Fego, 430 m of total ascent: about 3 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 642 and 1019 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Buscone in Varzi (4.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
