The walk
7.9 km out-and-back walk between Gradoli and Latera, up to Sentiero dei Briganti direzione Grotte di Castro, 235 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 453 and 602 m above sea level. Along the way: Collegiata di Santa Maria Maddalena, Palazzo Farnese and Passo della Montagnola. After the walk: wine tasting at Antonella Pacchiarotti (2.7 km) and lunch at La Piazzetta del Sole in Farnese (12.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
