The walk
6.4 km out-and-back walk near Pontechianale, up to Pontechianale, borgata Chianale, bivio CNAU19, CNAU70, 365 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1718 and 1803 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Lou Pitavin in Marmora (19.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Cuneo: about 1 h 15 min (49 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
