The walk
4.6 km out-and-back walk near Giffoni Valle Piana, up to Varco del Cerzone (innesto 168), 317 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 548 and 867 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Casa di baal (9.9 km) and lunch at Valleverde Zi’ Pasqualina in Atripalda (18.1 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Salerno: about 25 min (16 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
