6.2 km loop near San Godenzo, 468 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 378 and 764 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Borgo Macereto (8.5 km) and lunch at Antica Porta di Levante in Vicchio (12.1 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Florence: about 50 min (35 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
