The walk
5.0 km loop between Summonte and Sant'Angelo a Scala, 403 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 1220 and 1490 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Ciro Picariello (1.4 km) and lunch at I Santi in Mercogliano (4.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
