The walk
7.1 km out-and-back walk near Galbiate, up to Parco archeologico Monte Barro, 430 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 546 and 603 m above sea level. Along the way: Sala al Barro, Museo etnografico dell'Alta Brianza and Parco naturale del Monte Barro. After the walk: wine tasting at La Costa (9.3 km) and lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (9.5 km). Reachable by train: Sala al Barro-Galbiate station, 26 m from the trail.
