The walk
5.9 km out-and-back walk between Camporosso and Ventimiglia, up to Ciaxie, 438 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. Along the way: Fiume Roia. After the walk: wine tasting at Maccario Dringenberg (3.4 km) and lunch at A Viassa in Dolceacqua (3.6 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Sanremo: about 20 min (14 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
