The walk
Almost-loop walk of 4.2 km near Rio, almost flat (+109 m): about 1 h 15 min of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. After the walk: wine tasting at Arrighi (9.9 km) and lunch at Summertime – Isola d’Elba in Capoliveri (13.5 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Portoferraio: about 15 min (10 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
