7.8 km out-and-back walk between Campotosto and Amatrice, up to Poggio Cancelli, 156 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads, between 1278 and 1309 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Osteria del Castello in Arquata del Tronto (18.0 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.
