The walk
5.2 km out-and-back walk between Sanfront and Rifreddo, up to Meire Mottetto, 307 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 437 and 726 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Cascina Melognis (3.2 km) and lunch at Corona di Ferro in Saluzzo (11.4 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Cuneo: about 50 min (33 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
