The walk
6.8 km out-and-back walk near Fiesole, up to Poggio Pratone, 495 m of total ascent: about 3 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 214 and 682 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Caprandole di Thomas Colella (3.7 km) and lunch at Enoteca Spontanea in Florence (9.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
