The walk
7.0 km out-and-back walk near Sagrado / Sagrât / Zegraj, up to San Martino del Carso (quota 168 m, 150 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. After the walk: wine tasting at Sanzin (1.7 km) and lunch at Devetak in Savogna d’Isonzo (2.2 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Udine: about 40 min (28 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
