The walk
5.0 km out-and-back walk between Mignanego and Campomorone, up to Passo della Bocchetta, 359 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 493 and 800 m above sea level. Along the way: Passo della Bocchetta and Chiesa dell'Ascensione di Nostro Signore. After the walk: lunch at Baccicin du Caru in Mele (13.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Genoa: about 20 min (14 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
