The walk
5.5 km out-and-back walk between Torno and Faggeto Lario, up to Case delle Perle, 320 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads, between 540 and 674 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (15.8 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

By car
From Como: about 10 min (7 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
Take a train to Como, then a regional bus or a taxi for the last stretch. Our link plans the whole trip with Google Maps public transport.
