The walk
7.9 km out-and-back walk between Pianoro and Sasso Marconi, up to Percorso CAI 122 (Via Orchidee), 390 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Podere Riosto (5.7 km) and lunch at Trattoria di Via Serra in Bologna (13.9 km).
