The walk
4.2 km out-and-back walk between Torriglia and Valbrevenna, up to Costa della Gallina, 384 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 829 and 1043 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Ligagin in Lumarzo (9.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Genoa: about 30 min (21 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
