The walk
4.5 km out-and-back walk between Livinallongo and Cortina d'Ampezzo, up to Rifugio Valparola, 237 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 2085 and 2222 m above sea level. Along the way: Forte Tre Sassi, Passo di Valparola and Passo di Falzarego. After the walk: lunch at Alle Codole in Canale d’Agordo (19.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Belluno: about 1 h 05 min (45 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
