The walk
5.2 km out-and-back walk between La Valle Agordina and Agordo, up to Rifugio Carestiato, 288 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads, between 1607 and 1825 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Alle Codole in Canale d’Agordo (12.7 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

By car
From Belluno: about 35 min (22 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
Take a train to Belluno, then a regional bus or a taxi for the last stretch. Our link plans the whole trip with Google Maps public transport.
