The walk
4.1 km out-and-back walk between Tornolo and Santo Stefano d'Aveto, up to Percorso 871, 234 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1458 and 1600 m above sea level. Along the way: Monte Pelpi and Monte Penna. After the walk: lunch at La Brinca in Ne (16.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Genoa: about 1 h 10 min (46 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
