The walk
8.0 km out-and-back walk between Chiusi della Verna and Poppi, up to Badia Prataglia, 477 m of total ascent: about 3 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 816 and 1170 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Villa Magra (6.9 km) and lunch at La Tana degli Orsi in Pratovecchio Stia (12.9 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
