The walk
5.7 km loop near Barberino Tavarnelle, 200 m of total ascent: about 1 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail. Along the way: Abbazia di San Michele Arcangelo a Passignano and Chiesa di San Biagio. After the walk: wine tasting at Poggio Al Chiuso Azienda Agricola (0.1 km) and lunch at La Taverna di Vagliagli in Castelnuovo Berardenga (17.3 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
