The walk
6.8 km out-and-back walk , up to Col Santanel, almost flat (+34 m): about 1 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 2570 and 2599 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Al Maniero in Issogne (7.3 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Aosta: about 40 min (28 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
