6.6 km out-and-back walk near Greve in Chianti, up to Casole, 393 m of total ascent: about 2 h 30 min of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 535 and 863 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at I Fabbri (3.1 km) and lunch at La Taverna di Vagliagli in Castelnuovo Berardenga (14.7 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
