The walk
4.9 km out-and-back walk between Lazio and Contigliano, up to Valle Medico (Innesto con sentiero 364A), 246 m of total ascent: about 1 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1033 and 1203 m above sea level. After the walk: lunch at Lillero in Terni (14.6 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
