Mezzema to Monte Salto del Cavallo

The walk

4.8 km out-and-back walk near Deiva Marina, up to Monte Salto del Cavallo, 424 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 211 and 603 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at il Mulino di Barry (2.7 km) and lunch at Raieü in Lavagna (12.8 km).

Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

How to get there

Country buses run less often on Sundays and holidays, and some not at all: check the return journey before you set off.
