The walk
4.8 km out-and-back walk near Menconico, up to Strada Costa d'Alpe/Sentiero 101, 310 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked CAI hiking trail, between 753 and 1068 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Torre Degli Alberi (9.3 km) and lunch at Buscone in Varzi (4.5 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.
