The walk
4.6 km out-and-back walk near Borno, up to Malga Creisa, 335 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 1190 and 1501 m above sea level. Along the way: Riserva naturale Boschi del Giovetto di Paline. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantina Bignotti - I Cultivar delle Volte (6.3 km) and lunch at Al Resù in Lozio (7.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Sondrio: about 50 min (32 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
