7.6 km out-and-back walk between Macherio and Sovico, almost flat (+71 m): about 2 h of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. Along the way: Villa Gernetto and Villa Taverna. After the walk: lunch at La Piana in Carate Brianza (3.3 km). Reachable by train: Macherio-Canonica station, 34 m from the trail.
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.
