The walk
4.2 km out-and-back walk between Asso and Lasnigo, up to Alpe Megna, 250 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads, between 555 and 683 m above sea level. Along the way: Chiesa della Presentazione di Maria Vergine, Valassina and Chiesa di Sant'Alessandro. After the walk: lunch at Sali e Tabacchi in Mandello del Lario (6.1 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Como: about 25 min (17 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
