The walk
4.5 km out-and-back walk between Foppolo and Fusine, up to Montebello, 407 m of total ascent: about 2 h 15 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 2112 and 2341 m above sea level. Along the way: Lago Moro and Lago delle Trote. After the walk: lunch at Trattoria delle Miniere in Lenna (14.2 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

By car
From Sondrio: about 20 min (15 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
