The walk
6.8 km out-and-back walk between Polpenazze del Garda and Muscoline, up to Montropero (Castelletto), 199 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Cantina Pietta (0.5 km) and lunch at El Licinsì in Brescia (14.0 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Brescia: about 30 min (22 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
