The walk
Almost-loop walk of 4.9 km between Cherasco and La Morra, 155 m of total ascent: about 1 h 30 min of walking. Easy paths and dirt roads. After the walk: wine tasting at Andrea Oberto (0.6 km) and lunch at Locanda Fontanazza in La Morra (0.4 km).
Easy path (grade T): wide tracks and short climbs, trainers are fine in dry weather.

From Alba: about 15 min (11 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
