The walk
6.1 km loop near Portovenere, 245 m of total ascent: about 2 h of walking. Waymarked hiking trail. After the walk: wine tasting at Pian della Chiesa (7.0 km) and lunch at La Burlanda in Fosdinovo (14.8 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From La Spezia: about 15 min (9 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
